About Us
I have recently founded Décorallia, a Make-to-Measure curtains, blinds and soft furniture business in the Eastern Bays suburbs of Auckland. After years of making curtains and sewing for myself, friends and family and my training with Anne-Marie, a retired curtain maker and "tapissier" (upholsterer) in Bandol, South of France, I have decided to turn my hobby into a business. My clientèle is mainly based on referrals. That is why I always pay a special attention to client satisfaction.
Because I live in the neighbourhood, my clients are welcomed to pop-in to view the work-in-progress. And when it is possible, any changes are made accordingly.
I can assist with fabric selection or you are welcome to use your own fabric. I carry some samples with me and I have access to the major textiles showrooms, which allows me to offer fabric at a discounted price. I will discuss your heading, style options and colour scheme that will complement your interior décor. In September 2010, I participated in a workshop on colours with Debbie, an Interior Designer and Tutor. I will use my expertise to advise on the correct lining to use and on the most suitable window treatment.
I pride myself to achieve a high standard of workmanship on each project and strive for my current clients to become my next advocates.
